Landscapes of the Imagination
Explore the paintings of Antigone Pagonas, a Greek visual artist based in Athens. Through atmospheric landscapes, expressive abstracts and dreamlike interpretations of nature, her work explores the relationship between place, memory and emotion.
Working with acrylic, watercolour, pastel and mixed media, she creates original artworks shaped by colour, texture, light and imagination. Each painting offers a personal interpretation of the world, inviting the viewer to pause and discover a different perspective.

Mountains
"My love for snowy mountains began at the age of eight, skiing in the French Alps. From competing in slalom to studying in the Swiss Alps, the mountains have always been an essential part of my life.
Through my paintings, I seek to capture their majestic beauty, the purity of the snow, the changing light, and the wildlife that brings them to life.
Painting snowy mountains is my way of expressing a lifelong connection with nature and preserving the emotions and memories these landscapes inspire in me."

Dream Clouds
"One day I got hit with this inspiration to portray scenes in clouds paying homage to our forgotten childhood times when we tried to recognize things while observing clouds. And so this mini project "Dream Clouds" is about nostalgia for carefree times when we actually could stop lay down on the warm grass and fantasize."
