ABOUT | BIO
ANTIGONI PAGONA
Antigoni Pagona was born in Athens in 1977. When she was 10-month-old, her family moved to Monaco where she grew up. She studied Art and English in the UK and Hotel Management in Switzerland.​
​
In 2002 she decided to return to Athens, where she worked in the shipping industry for 20 years. In Greece she also studied Art & Design and took photography lessons with the Luminus team.
​
She has held 3 individual exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
​
In October 2018, she founded the “AndieArt” company that includes services such as painting, photography and interior design.
​
Today she lives and works in Athens, where she has her own studio (AndieArt Studio Gallery), and her artworks are in private collections in Athens, Dubai, Switzerland and Monaco.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"Without the ability to actualize an idea or concept, art would not exist.
My creative work includes painting, photography, design, interior design. I believe that insights in art are supported by cross-disciplinary practice and I find that my work in one discipline will influence my work in another.
My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret the ideas that I have about myself and the world I live in. Inspirations and ideas change. Knowledge changes. Each piece I create is simultaneously an extension from the past, where I come from and what I have learned, as well as a preview of the future, where I'm going."
