THE ARTIST
A CONTINUOUS EXPLORATION
Antigone Pagonas is a Greek visual artist living and working in Athens.
Her practice encompasses painting and photography, disciplines that exist in a continuous dialogue within her work. Each offers a different way of approaching the same questions: how we perceive the world, how places shape our memories, and how images can express what words cannot.
Her artistic journey brings together an international upbringing, a background in art and design, and a sustained interest in visual expression. Across her work, she continues to explore new ways of interpreting the world around her.
Antigone has presented solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Greece and internationally. Her works are held in private collections in Greece and abroad.
