MANI

Mani is a region in the southern Peloponnese peninsula of Greece,

known for its dramatic scenery, unique tower houses, and rich history.

 

It's divided into two main parts:

Outer Mani (with coastal villages like Kardamyli and Stoupa) and

Deep Mani, further south, characterized by a rugged coastline and fewer visitors.

 

Mani is known for its stone villages, Byzantine churches, and the traditional tower houses that were built for defense.
